A breath of fresh air at the castle this summer!
Throughout the summer, enjoy the many activities offered at the castle: knights and falconry shows, medieval workshops, guided tours, etc., will delight young and old!
It is possible to visit the castle without following the guided tour. Paper guides are available in French, English, German and Dutch.

Knight's Legend
This summer, the castle of Talmont will host a tournament where where valiant knights will compete!
Dive in this equestrian show for an immersion in the life and glory of Middle Ages knights.
Medieval workshops
The medieval workshops allow you to discover the universe of the Middle Ages: Calligraphy, costumes, crossbow shooting (from 5 years old) and wooden games medieval.
Guided tours of the castle
A passionate guide will tell you the history of the castle from its construction to its present value. A true witness of the Middle Ages, the Château de Talmont is a fortress that tells the story of more than 1000 years of history! With its imposing keep, accessible on 4 levels, it dominates the Talmont coast.

The castle opens its doors earlier to offer a guided tour in the morning quietness.
The week-end
On weekends there are no guided tours, shows or medieval workshops. Self-guided tour only.
If you wish to visit the castle at your own pace, paper guides are available in different languages (french, english, dutch and german).
For children, a paper game “The King's Ransom” is available at the reception desk on request.

The summer night show at the Château de Talmont
Written and directed by Jacques Raveleau Duparc, "The Epic of Richard the Lionheart" will once again be presented to public!
The night show of the castle of Talmont will take you on a unique sensational experience. Lights on the castle, high quality music, equestrian aerobatics, classical singers and fire effects will help to amaze you while the actors and the hundred volunteers unfold the story before your eyes.

If you want to come to the castle during the day AND enjoy the night show, we have set up a global rate, called “DAY + NIGHT”
(possibility to use the Day Pass from Monday to Friday):

- Child (from 4 to 12 years old): 23€
- Child under 4 years old: free.
À note: the castle closes its doors to 7pm and opens again for the night show 1 hour before the beginning of the show. (compulsory to leave the site).
Twilight's guided tour

With a guide, discover the fortress by night. An invitation to travel in the past !
You will finish this experience with a medieval tasting.
