During Easter weekend, the castle invites you to its new egg hunt !
With your family, go in search of colored eggs to find a combination and to receive your chocolate Grail!
Spring holidays at the Castle
From April 7 to May 2, 2025, the city of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire invites you to visit and to discover secrets of its medieval fortress with activities accessible to young and old alike.

Open from monday to sunday.

From 10:30am to 6pm.
Last entrance at 5pm.

Adult : 10€
Child (5-12 years old) : 7€, free under 5 years old
Family ticket : 30€ (2 adults and 2 children), 3,5€ per child more
Saturday and sunday (no shows and guided tours)

Falconry show
Discover many species of birds in a show where you will be able to see raptors just above your head !
Hunting in the Middle Ages
Before discovering the bird show, learn how hunting was done in the
Middle Ages !
Guided tours
Visit the castle of Talmont with a guide and discover the thousand years of history. You will be able to explore the keep with its four levels , which surrounds the littoral of Talmont.
The knight's quest
With your leaflet, pace up and down the castle to solve different riddles.
Do not forget any places of the fortress if you want to discover the answer !
It is possible to visit the castle freely if you do not wish to follow a guided tour.
A paper guide, available in different languages, will be given to you at reception.
Out of Spring Holidays
From May 3 to July 6, discover the fortress by your own. With a paper guide (translated in english, german and dutch), you will be able to visit the castle on your own pace.
Exceptionnal closing times on June 25 (all day).
Several events will take place during this period : the Egg Hunt, the Medieval Festival and the European Archaeological Days, to find HERE.
